A five-selection round robin does not have one fixed bet count unless you specify the parlay size. The count is the number of combinations of 5 selections taken k at a time:
C(5,k)
| Round robin size | Number of bets |
|---|---|
| By 2s | 10 |
| By 3s | 10 |
| By 4s | 5 |
| By 5s | 1 |
| All sizes 2 through 5 | 26 |
So if someone says “a 5-selection round robin by 2s,” that is 10 individual bets. If they mean every parlay size from doubles through the fivefold, that is 26 individual bets.
Operator help material describes a round robin as a set of parlay combinations and notes that the stake is applied to each individual combination, not just once to the whole group: https://support.draftkings.com/dk/en-us/what-is-a-round-robin-rr-bet?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0010785
If the stake is $2 per combination:
| Setup | Bets | Total stake |
|---|---|---|
| 5 selections by 2s | 10 | $20 |
| 5 selections by 3s | 10 | $20 |
| All sizes 2–5 | 26 | $52 |
Method: use the combinations formula, not permutations, because the same selections in a different order do not create a different parlay.

Limitations: actual bet slips can exclude related selections, same-game combinations or voided legs. The receipt controls what was actually accepted and settled.
