5 Treasures Baccarat: Five Side Bets, Rules and Payouts

How to Check 5 Treasures Baccarat Outcomes and Payouts

Contents

5 Treasures baccarat offers five separate side bets: Fortune 7 pays for a winning Banker three-card 7; Golden 8 pays for a winning Player three-card 8; Heavenly 9 pays for one or both sides finishing with a three-card 9; Blazing 7s pays when both sides finish with 7 using either two cards each or three cards each; Cover All pays when any of those four events occurs.

The Wind Creek Bethlehem 2026 guide lists net payouts of 40:1, 25:1, 10:1 or 75:1, 50:1 or 200:1, and 6:1, respectively. The exact schedule appears below, sourced from the 2026 guide, page 7. This is a published schedule, not confirmation of a live table’s conditions: the posted table paytable determines the actual payment.

What are the five bets in Wind Creek’s paytable?

Check the named side, its final total, its card count and—only for Fortune 7 and Golden 8—whether that side wins. Matching the total alone is not enough.

Which details can change whether a bet wins?

Fortune 7 and Golden 8 require the named side to win; Heavenly 9 and Blazing 7s can pay on qualifying ties. Do not apply one bet’s winning condition to all five.

  • Fortune 7: Banker finishing with a three-card 7 does not qualify if the round is tied.
  • Golden 8: Player’s three-card 8 must win. That total by itself does not qualify.
  • Heavenly 9: A qualifying 9 must use three cards. A natural—an initial two-card 8 or 9—is not a three-card Heavenly 9. A three-card 9–9 tie pays 75:1 under this schedule.
  • Blazing 7s: The condition concerns final totals of 7–7, not cards ranked seven. Both sides must have the same qualifying card count: two each or three each. Two cards on one side and three on the other do not qualify.
  • Cover All: This is a separate wager, not an automatic extra payment attached to the other side bets. One qualifying event is enough; the four individual payouts are not added together.

These distinctions follow Pennsylvania §631c.3, August 2024 document. Cover All can be placed without placing the other four side bets, but Pennsylvania requires a base Baccarat wager. Its separate placement is also allowed in Nevada’s Commission Free Version 2 rules. Check the table’s base-wager requirements as well.

How do you check the posted table rules?

Identify the rules version first, then match each qualifying event to its own payout line. Pay particular attention to two-card Blazing 7s: Wind Creek’s published schedule and the Nevada commission-free version discussed here pay different amounts.

  1. Read the table’s posted rules and paytable. Check the version name and whether the main Banker bet carries commission. The name “5 Treasures” does not establish a single universal schedule.
  2. Check Fortune 7 and Golden 8. Confirm the three-card requirement, final total and requirement for the named side to win.
  3. Separate the two Heavenly 9 outcomes. Find the payouts for one three-card 9 and for two three-card 9s. Do not substitute a natural.
  4. Separate the two Blazing 7s outcomes. Check two cards each and three cards each independently, including whether both are offered.
  5. Check Cover All as a separate wager. Find its payout and any required base wager. Placing another side bet does not automatically place Cover All.
  6. Separate net payout from gross credit. A 50:1 payout means 50 units of profit per unit staked, with the winning stake returned separately.

Use the Wind Creek 2026 guide, Pennsylvania §631c.3, August 2024 document, and the applicable Nevada rules version as references—not an unsourced general paytable.

How do Pennsylvania A/B and Nevada Version 2 differ?

Wind Creek’s published 2026 payouts match Pennsylvania Paytable B, but not Paytable A or every line of Nevada’s Commission Free Version 2 Paytable 5.

VersionBlazing 7s: two cards on each sideBlazing 7s: three cards on each side
Wind Creek Bethlehem 202650:1200:1
Pennsylvania Paytable ANo payout listed in Paytable A (N/A)400:1
Pennsylvania Paytable B50:1200:1
Nevada Commission Free Version 2, Paytable 540:1200:1

The other listed payouts are the same: Fortune 7 at 40:1, Golden 8 at 25:1, Heavenly 9 at 10:1 or 75:1, and Cover All at 6:1. Pennsylvania’s A/B selection is specified in the operator’s Rules Submission. Sources: Pennsylvania §631c.3(h), August 2024 document, Wind Creek 2026, and Nevada Commission Free Version 2, Paytable 5, pages 1–2.

The main Banker bet also differs. Wind Creek’s guide specifies Banker commission. Nevada’s traditional Version 2 rules specify 5% Banker commission but contain no numerical side-bet paytable. Under Nevada’s Commission Free Version 2, a winning Banker three-card 7 makes the main Banker bet push. That main-bet rule does not cancel a qualifying Fortune 7 payout.

How do you settle an example with a $5 stake?

Multiply $5 by the posted net payout, then add the returned $5 stake to find the gross credit. These examples settle only the named side bet; they exclude the main wager and any other side bets.

Final outcome and wagerNet profit or lossGross credit, including returned stake
Both sides finish with two-card 7s; $5 on Blazing 7s under Wind Creek / Pennsylvania B at 50:1$250$255
Same outcome; $5 on Blazing 7s under Nevada Commission Free V2, Paytable 5 at 40:1$200$205
Exactly one side finishes with a three-card 9 and the other has a lower total; $5 on Heavenly 9 at 10:1$50$55

No rounding is needed: $5 × 50 = $250, $5 × 40 = $200, and $5 × 10 = $50. The first two examples use the same qualifying event; only the payout line changes. Sources: Wind Creek 2026 and Nevada Commission Free Version 2, Paytable 5.

For a losing example, suppose both sides finish with three-card 7s. That qualifies for Blazing 7s, but not Fortune 7, because Banker did not win. If the only side bet placed was $5 on Fortune 7, the net loss is $5 and the gross credit is $0. These are illustrative final states, not reports of observed rounds.

What does the eight-deck house-edge model show?

For Blazing 7s, the specified fresh eight-deck model gives a house edge of 7.7797% with payouts of 50:1 and 200:1, or 16.7503% with payouts of 40:1 and 200:1. These figures describe that side bet under those assumptions—not all five bets, the main Banker bet or a player’s session result.

The Wizard of Odds exact analysis, updated August 3, 2026, publishes these outcome counts:

  • Total denominator: 4,998,398,275,503,360.
  • Both sides finish with two-card 7s: 44,838,810,157,056.
  • Both sides finish with three-card 7s: 11,556,012,525,568.

Let p_2 and p_3 be those respective counts divided by the total denominator. With all other outcomes losing, the house edge uses gross returns per unit staked: net winnings plus the returned stake.

  • 50:1 and 200:1: 1 − 51 × p_2 − 201 × p_3 = 7.7797%.
  • 40:1 and 200:1: 1 − 41 × p_2 − 201 × p_3 = 16.7503%.

This calculation assumes eight fresh, complete decks and the specified payouts. It is not a measurement of a live table. Percentages are rounded to four decimal places.

Blazing 7s payout assumptionsModel house edgeExpected loss over 100 wagers of $5
Wind Creek / Pennsylvania B: 50:1 and 200:17.7797%$38.90
Nevada Commission Free V2, Paytable 5: 40:1 and 200:116.7503%$83.75

Expected loss is total stake turnover multiplied by the model house edge. Here, turnover is $500; dollar amounts are rounded to cents. Actual results over 100 rounds can differ substantially. This is a mathematical comparison, not a betting recommendation or guarantee.

In the ToolsGambling house-edge calculator, turn on Enter a custom house edge and enter 7.7797% or 16.7503%. Set Bet Size per Round to $5, select By rounds, and set Number of Rounds to 100. The expected loss is about $38.90 or $83.75, respectively; the interface may round values. The calculator uses the supplied edge; it does not read 5 Treasures rules, solve a paytable or infer the table’s actual house edge.

For background on third-card drawing rules, see the analysis of 1,000 baccarat shoes. That article does not calculate these side bets: settling 5 Treasures still requires the exact qualifying event and the table’s posted paytable.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

No. One tier requires two cards in each hand, while the other requires three cards in each hand. A completed deal cannot meet both conditions. Use the table’s current paytable to find the payout for the qualifying outcome.
