Voluntarily Put $ in Pot

VPIP

Percentage of hands where player voluntarily puts money in the pot preflop (calls or raises)

Formula: (Calls + Raises) / Total Hands × 100
Optimal Range: 18-24% for TAG, 25-32% for LAG
Interpretation: Low VPIP = tight/nitty, High VPIP = loose/fishy. Combined with PFR shows playing style.

Pre-Flop Raise

PFR

Percentage of hands where player raises preflop

Formula: Preflop Raises / Total Hands × 100
Optimal Range: 15-20% for TAG, 20-28% for LAG
Interpretation: Should be close to VPIP. Big gap (VPIP-PFR > 6) = passive preflop player, likely weak.

3-Bet Percentage

3Bet

Percentage of times player re-raises a raiser preflop

Formula: 3-Bets / Opportunities to 3-Bet × 100
Optimal Range: 6-10% overall, varies by position
Interpretation: Low 3bet = only premiums (easy to play against). High 3bet = aggressive, harder to read.

Fold to 3-Bet

How often player folds when facing a 3-bet

Formula: Folds to 3-Bet / Times 3-Bet × 100
Optimal Range: 55-65%
Interpretation: Too high = 3bet them more. Too low = tighten your 3bet range, value-heavy.

4-Bet Percentage

4Bet

How often player 4-bets when facing a 3-bet

Formula: 4-Bets / Times 3-Bet × 100
Optimal Range: 2-4%
Interpretation: Low = only AA/KK. High = aggressive, may include bluffs.

Attempt to Steal

ATS

How often player raises from CO, BTN, or SB when folded to

Formula: Steal Attempts / Opportunities × 100
Optimal Range: 25-35%
Interpretation: Low ATS = tight, defend blinds less. High ATS = aggressive, 3bet them more.

Fold to Steal

FTS

How often BB folds to steal attempts

Formula: Folds / Steal Attempts Faced × 100
Optimal Range: 60-75%
Interpretation: High FTS = steal more. Low FTS = tighten stealing range or 3bet more.

Continuation Bet

CBet

How often the preflop raiser bets the flop

Formula: Flop CBets / Opportunities × 100
Optimal Range: 55-70%
Interpretation: High CBet = aggressive, may fold to raises. Low CBet = selective, stronger when betting.

Fold to C-Bet

FCB

How often player folds to continuation bets

Formula: Folds / CBets Faced × 100
Optimal Range: 40-55%
Interpretation: High FCB = cbet them relentlessly. Low FCB = need real hands to cbet.

Turn C-Bet

TCB

How often player continuation bets the turn after cbetting flop

Formula: Turn CBets / Opportunities × 100
Optimal Range: 45-60%
Interpretation: Low turn cbet = flop cbet was often a bluff. High = continuing aggression.

Went to Showdown

WTSD

How often player goes to showdown when seeing a flop

Formula: Showdowns / Flops Seen × 100
Optimal Range: 24-30%
Interpretation: High WTSD = calling station, value bet thin. Low WTSD = can be bluffed.

Won $ at Showdown

W$SD

Win rate when reaching showdown

Formula: Showdowns Won / Total Showdowns × 100
Optimal Range: 50-56%
Interpretation: Low W$SD + High WTSD = calling station. High W$SD = only showdowns with strong hands.

Won $ When Saw Flop

WWSF

How often player wins the pot when seeing a flop

Formula: Pots Won / Flops Seen × 100
Optimal Range: 45-52%
Interpretation: Includes wins without showdown. High WWSF = aggressive postflop player.

Aggression Factor

AF

Ratio of aggressive actions to passive actions postflop

Formula: (Bets + Raises) / Calls
Optimal Range: 2.5-4.0
Interpretation: AF > 4 = very aggressive. AF < 2 = passive, bet for value when they raise.

Aggression Frequency

AFq

How often player bets or raises when given the chance

Formula: (Bets + Raises) / (Bets + Raises + Calls + Folds) × 100
Optimal Range: 35-45%
Interpretation: More accurate than AF because it includes folds. High = aggressive.

Check-Raise Flop

CRF

How often player check-raises on the flop

Formula: Check-Raises / Opportunities × 100
Optimal Range: 5-10%
Interpretation: High CRF = trappy. Low CRF = straightforward, check = weakness.

Donk Bet

Donk

How often player leads into preflop aggressor

Formula: Donk Bets / Opportunities × 100
Optimal Range: 0-5% (most do it wrong)
Interpretation: Usually indicates weak player. Can be exploited by raising.
