Definition
A 6-point score in American Football achieved by carrying the ball into the endzone or catching it there.
A Touchdown (TD) is the primary method of scoring in American Football and Rugby. It is worth 6 points.
To score a touchdown, a player must carry the ball across the opponent's goal line or catch a pass within the endzone.
After a touchdown, the scoring team can attempt a 2-Point Conversion or kick an extra point.

Fun Fact: If the same player scores a TD and the 2-point conversion, it's called an Octopus (8 points).
